Baldur’s residence is a very small and humble home. You have to remember that even though he is in his middle twenties, he has just finished his training as a city guard, so that means he did not have a well paid job until now. When you enter the house, you will step directly into the kitchen, which is rather big compared to the other rooms in the house. It has a big fireplace where the food is getting prepared. The dining area is big as well, and there is even a minor couch looking sitting place where you can rest your legs on some nice furs and woollen blankets. It is a place where you usually find his big white dire wolf lying. He found the pup a year ago where he had killed his mother for stealing his hunt. He had of course not known that she was an only bitch who was stealing food for her only puppy. If he had known that, he would have left her alone. You see, wolves do not like anyone standing in their pack. They see it as a sign of weakness, so many weak born wolves, black wolves and white ones get chased out from the pack to live on their own. So this she-wolf had given birth to a little he-pup all alone. Baldur had of course studied predators as well as preys when he had learned hunting in his young days, so he knew about the rules of the wolf pack. He knew that there were no other dire wolves to take care of the little pup, and that had caused him to take this young animal home with him. Yes, this is the story of how Snow (that is the name of the wolf) came into his life. But enough about wolves. Baldur’s place is somewhere next to the big animal who usually occupies the entire couch. When you walk up the dangerously unstable stairs to the next floor; you find a minor fireplace again. This one is used to heat up the highest level of the house. That fireplace is situated in a minor living room with a big armchair, a table and some shelves where there are usually displayed helms, swords, shields and other armour he uses for his job. Baldur’s own room is very small, and it is just a bed where he is sleeping. He never spends any other time in there. There is also a big closet where he hides his clothes, but other than that, there is nothing else in the room. The bed is covered with blankets and wolf fur. That is by the way also very characteristic for the young man’s clothes and the style of his home.
