Lothíriel's not really in a position to officially join a fellowship, but I just thought I'd offer up a side plot idea. Once this group is formed, maybe at some point in time they are looking for a place to stay, and they come across Lothíriel who offers them rooms in Dol Amroth. Possibly after they went through some kind of rough time? Basically, it would be like how the original fellowship took a bit of break in Lothlorien. They just take some time to renew themselves, and it seems like a plausible way to get Lothíriel involved, at least as a kind of ally for the group. Let me know what any of you think ^^

Also a side note: Remember that everything major, this fellowship will do, has to go through me. Especially since I play Sauron, and we also have to accept it if they will interfere with some of the plots we have planned. Also, when time comes we will have a war people can apply for joining, so I have to ask you to limit your number at this fellowship. Especially because we want people to create characters to the real fellowship in order to get the plot going and not starting to create to this one.

Let me first state that I had no intention of this interfering much, if at all, with the predefined events of Tolkien. Should this idea get off the ground, I don't assume we'll be taking the same passage ways and whatnot that the Fellowship did. In fact, that'd be boring. No, I think it'd be more entertaining to go in an entirely new direction, giving the forces of evil opportunities to do completely new things in new regions that weren't defined. A perfect example of this could be, for example, following the mountains down to the gap of Rohan. Deterred by the massive army sprawling across the gap, they pass over the white mountains into Anfalas, eventually making their way to Dol Amroth, and convincing the knights there to join the battle in Pelenor. Or perhaps they cross over Moria, take the route through Mirkwood and Lothlorien and persuade them to send reinforcements to Helms Deep? Etc etc.

Alright, I also personally think that it is too early to form any fellowship now. We don't even have the original filled (which is our biggest priority). People don't even know about the ring yet, and after that the hobbits still need to come to Rivendell - who knows when that will be... It could be next winter if it will take so long to for the canons to be claimed. And at that time we perhaps have even more members who would like to join your fellowship. (something Jules made me aware of). So I think that you shall wait till the council of Elrond before you form one. We could have more members at that time and the spots would probably be filled out fast.

So my proposition? A second Fellowship; possibly a third should the response to this be overwhelming. This is still hypothetical. I'm proposing this at the moment merely to see how many people would be interested in such an undertaking.
I am well aware that there will be a lot of bugs to work out, rules to be laid down, etc. The purpose of this thread is to see if anyone is even interested. Only if we know for certain people want to do it would there be a point in discussing the rules and whatnot. This is merely hypothetical.
