The gardens were a good place to be. The sun seemed to shine just right here and it was a place her mother had always frequented. She could remember being here as a child, her mother accompanying her as she played around as all children do. Ireth could almost see the memory, see herself as a child with her mother wandering around in the garden and looking at all the flowers and plants, her mother watching her with such a mysterious smile. Like she knew something that Ireth had not, which was not surprising considering she had only been a child at the time. But even now she was unsure of the smile, perhaps it was a parent thing. Having children would cause her to have to settle down for quite some time though, something she was unsure about. She was like the wind, going where ever she felt the need to be. With children she would have to remain in one place. Aside from that this was not the time to have children anyway.
Ireth found her gaze lowering, finding the swords on her hips. They were once her fathers and now they were hers. It was what she kept with her all the time, as a weapon and as a reminder of him. Her parents had been two of the most important figures in her life, without them she would continue searching for something to be just as important. Perhaps one day she will find someone who holds her heart, but she did not see that day approaching anytime soon. Aside from that she did not have any interest in finding anyone just yet anyway. That would just have to wait. There were only a few other elves around her, nothing to really be concerned with as they were minding their own business. It was her first day back in Rivendell since about a year or so of traveling and so far she had not seen anyone of interest to her, no past friends or such that she had hoped to find. They would show up soon enough, she was sure.
For a moment she closed her blue eyes, placing her hands on her swords and drawing them. She went through the motions that her father had taught her so long ago, fighting the shadows of her mind in practice. There were some modifications to her father's teachings, such that would suit Ireth better than those she had learned. Her eyes opened, but she still remained in heavy concentration, her senses telling her that everyone else was remaining at a safe distance. After a time she paused mid swing, holding her position for a moment before moving back into a neutral stance. Someone was approaching her and the presence seemed familiar. She put her swords away, sheathing them before turning to look at the approaching figure. “Decided to come find me, I see,” she said, a slight smile forming on her lips.

Elemmire had just come back from Lothlorien and she was glad that her grandmother was able to help her with the increase of her powers. What she found was what she didn't expect. That it would need months of training to get her new abilities undercontrol. After ridding with her guard for a while she saw him go ahead to look out for trouble and she stayed behind to watch the rear. Even though she was a royal, she didn't need a lot of protection, she had learned to take care of herself.
Hearing a noise she looked back as she got off her horse and she calmed her nervous white steed back to a calm state of being. After ten minutes, Elemmire heard the nosie coming closer. The noise seamed loud to an elf since the originator was so close. If they were leages away she would still hear them but it would be a mere whisper.
Seeing now what her ears could not, she saw it was a troop of Orcs whom had followed their trail for some time now. Looking at to where she left her horse she saw it had run ahead to alert her guard. "Great...Just great"She said softly in elvish as she started to make her way through the woods to make a little headway between her and her pursuers.
Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her head as she bent down and put her hands over her temple's for a second. She remembered from Celebrian that it was just her powers advancing and the new ability would reveal itself in time and not to force it out. To take it easy the next couple days so that her body could rest and take the change gradually instead of forcing it to change rappidly in the time of need or defense.
Well, that surely wasn't going to happen. Elemmire thought as she thought of blocking the pain till she was able to deal with it and for some odd reason it worked. She was glad it did to. Because if it didn't work she would be in deep trouble. Running by a cliff she saw a boat on the Deep river below. It was about 46 ft down from the cliff. She was now blocked and no way out. When she saw the orcs form a circle she stepped back and fell off the cliff into the water's below.
She saw the Entrance and right behind it, the garden of Rivendell hopping that someone would see her fall and come to her aid. But if not she hoped she had the strength enough to swim towards the other side of the river

Ireth was still smiling slightly at the person until she saw something behind. On the cliff a fair distance away a figure was falling into the waters below. Above on the cliff were a worrisome group, a group of Orcs brandishing their weapons threateningly. They were coming so close now, gaining so much confidence now that it was growing more imperative to do something about the threat in general. The smile that had been there before had disappeared by now and she found herself pushing the person out of the way and running toward the river and cliff, pulling out her bow all the while. She may be better with a sword, but her archery skills were not to be underestimated either, she was an elf after all. She could see other elves nearby with bows taking their aim as she took hers. After a moment of aiming quickly they all fired, hitting several of the Orcs above. By that time she could see other elves moving above with other weapons to help.
Ireth dropped her bow and quiver as well as her blades before diving into the water and swimming to the one that fell in. It only took her a moment to reach her, the sounds of battle above ringing through her ears. As she reached her Ireth felt her eyes widen slightly as she recognized the form of Elemmire trying to swim toward her and safety. “Elemmire,” she raised her voice in surprise before saying a bit jokingly, “you would be the one to be attacked, huh? Come quickly.” She swam closer to help the other elf swim across the river. It only took a short while, but Ireth could tell something, aside from just being attacked by a band of Orcs, was wrong. As they reached the shore she looked back up to the cliff to see the Orcs had fallen. She then took a moment to look down at herself, seeing how soaked she was from the river. With a sigh she took up her weapons once more, placing them in their respective places before turning back to her friend.
“Looks like we are going to have to find a place to dry off now,” she said with a slight smile before looking slightly worried at her, “you're okay right?” She spoke in elvish, her voice holding concern for her friend. Already she had to worry about the attack from the Orcs and her falling off that cliff into the river, now she had to worry about anything else that might be ailing her. There were other elves gathering around them to be sure that they were going to be alright. Ireth waved them away from her, saying that she was fine and they began to gather more around Elemmire to be sure that Elrond's second daughter was also going to be okay. Ireth could do little for her friend aside from drag her away from the small crowd if she assured them she were fine. Otherwise they might not leave the poor elf alone.

As she had passed out , she opened them minutes alter and saw a violent vision of the two of them encountering a large troop of orcs and they were defeated and captured. Taken on the way to Isengard...One place she wished that she never had to return to once more. Elemmire woke up coughing as she looked to see where she was. "What...What happened..."She asked curiously as she looked down.
"Ireth,...What were you doing?"She asked as the visions had always impaired her memory of what was currently taking place she didn't remember falling or almost drowning. "And why are we all wet..?"She asked as she looked at the cliff on the other side of the deep river she saw archers warding off the beasts.
She then remembered what took place...Father is going to be deeply displeased that once again I left with out guards... And traveled with out escorts back from Lothlorien...Probably going to be grounded...for the rest of my time here.. She thought as she looked at the ground
Elemmire looked at the ground first as then she looked at Ireth,"Elrond's going to kill me ...isn't he..."She said softly as she looked down.

Ireth looked at Elemmire when she asked what happened, what Ireth was doing there, and why they were all wet. With the shake of her head she smiled a bit, knowing that she had been doing some sort of training away from Rivendell to help her with her powers. She probably still was not use to them or something. “I was saving you from Orcs and drowning,” she said softly, “and now you seem to be fine with the exception of being soaked from the river and perhaps a bit disoriented from the ordeal.” She turned to one of those standing near them and asked for them to get something they could dry themselves a bit with. The elf rushed off to find what he could. To the rest of the people Ireth asked for some space and stated that Elemmire should be fine now and that she would escort Elrond's daughter from here. Though Ireth was a young elf she had proven that she could fight and protect others when needed and that she was fully capable of handling this situation.
There was some hesitance amongst the elves but they eventually backed off just as the elf she had sent off returned with some cloths to cover themselves with and dry off a little as they walked. She offered one of the cloths to Elemmire as her question was asked. “I'll say Elrond probably won't be pleased and with so many knowing what happened we probably can't get away with not telling him either,” she said with a look that said there was little she could do, “at the very least he should be glad you were not harmed or captured. I fear that the thought will probably not sway his punishment however, whatever he decides that will be.” From the look on Elemmire's face Ireth feared for the other elf's freedom now, knowing that Elrond would probably keep her under lock and key to ensure she was safe and not wandering off somewhere. To Ireth, the thought of not being able to leave one place for a long time was quite unnerving.
“Perhaps we can persuade Elrond to be more lenient to you and not take away the privilege of leaving his sight,” she said with a hopeful tone, “you could ask that I be your escort of something of the like if you want.” They were friends and Ireth would enjoy the extra time with her if nothing else. Besides, she did not plan on leaving again for a while anyway. “Until them perhaps we can stall before going to see him.” Ireth turned after that only to come face to face with Elrond himself, having been told by the others of what had occurred. "Elemmire... You seem in good health my daughter. Perhaps you would like to inform me of the reasoning behind your decision for so few guards for your return home." Ireth remained silent, unsure of what she could do to help the situation. Instead she placed a hand on Elemmire's arm in an attempt to provide some form of comfort for the other elf.

Elemmire turned around as she heard her father's voice. "I ...Yes I have returned..."She said as she looked at him pausing. Elemmier looked at Elrond as she walked with him to the Library and she sighed,"Father, I didn't expect that there were to be any encounters on the way there..."She said as she then heard why not on the way back, "I kinda assumed the same preposition."She said as she looked at him as she saw another elf go over to Elrond to report that the Orcs that had breached the Barrier had been dealt with. She paused as she started to back out of the room when she heard the solder mention that they had followed her and explained that she was seen falling off the cliff and rescued by Ireth soon after.
And she heard stop as she looked down as she was almost to the door and she was almost home free. Guess she would have to deal with him now...She thought. "Father. "She said pausing as she saw his face, "Father I can ...Well I can't really explain what happened or how they came after me.."She said as she saw Ireth come in behind the Elven Captain that had reported to her father.
She weakly smiled to Ireth kinda indicating that he had found out and that the talk would come next. Also in her expression read that she could leave if she wanted to.

The two high ranking elves began to walk off, Elrond not looking too pleased and Elemmire looking quite meek. Ireth knew better than to follow them immediately or anything like that. Instead she turned and reported to the captain in charge, explaining everything that had happened from what she saw to add to the reports of the others. She and the captain remained there for a short while to confer with the other elves who had fought and to make sure that everyone was okay. There were a couple of scraps and only one serious gash, but overall everything seemed under control. After that was seen to the captain ordered the disposal of the bodies before turning to report to Elrond, gesturing for Ireth to follow behind him.
They went to the library where they were told that Elrond was with his youngest daughter now. It only took a moment to find them and for the captain to give his report to Elrond of everything they could find out, Ireth standing by the door in wait. When the report was finished Elrond seemed to pause a moment. Ireth watched with a tilted head as Elemmire appeared to be trying to sneak away. “Stop,” she heard Elrond say firmly before seeing him gesture for Elemmire to return to his side. Ireth approached then, standing behind the captain and looked at Elemmire's smile with a smile in return, offering reassurance. “Daughter, with the danger approaching so close now I believe that you should remain at home for the time being,”
he said, tone still firm. Ireth frowned slightly at the news, knowing that it was to be expected. Still, she knew that Elemmire would not be able to just sit around for that long at home. Ireth looked over to Elemmire to see how she would respond. If the other elf did not make a good argument against Elrond's words than she may have to try to offer her own suggestion. She would rather not have Elrond also displeased with her, but if it came down to that then she would at least try to lighten things for her friend.[/blockquote]

Elemmire looked at him and paused, "But father, it wasn't my fault...I didn't see it foresight" she said pausing as she looked at him as she heard that she was to stay within the gates of Rivendell, "But..."She said as she looked and sighed, "Yes..."she paused, "But I have foreseen the ring bearer and I would like to travel with him when the time would come for them to depart. I feel I may be useful to them with my gifts...If I learn to control them in time."She said as she hopped that it would work.
She heard him agree and that she would work with him on controlling her powers with the techniques that her grandmother in Lothlorien had given her to work on during her stay there, "Father, there is one other thing..."She paused as she looked at Ireth and she smiled, "I would like Ireth to be my escort for the time that you have deemed necessary that I have to be in the gates of Rivendell."She said as she looked at him.
She waited for his answer when she smiled a little as she waited for the answer to be revealed. Even though she had foreseen the answer, she would like it to come from her fathers mouth to confirm it.

Elrond looked at his daughter sternly as she tried to explain. “You cannot rely on foresight all the time my daughter,” he said, a slight frown adorning his face. He closed his eyes for a moment and took a breath in thought of her next request. When he opened his eyes again he studied her for a moment. “We shall decide when the time comes,” he said a bit reluctantly, “in the mean time, you shall work with me to learn to control your powers better.” He seemed firm on his decisions from his expression and Ireth dared not challenge that aspect of it. She was about to speak up a bit when there was a pause, but Elemmire seemed to beat her to it and spoke up instead, voicing the suggestion that Ireth had made to her earlier, just after she saved the other elf. She found herself looking to Elrond for his answer, keeping her face passive as she watched the thought pass over him.
“That seems like an appropriate suggestion,” he said as his gaze went from his daughter over to Ireth, “she is quite a fighter and I know you two share a good relationship.” It was all the more reason for Ireth to protect her should anything happen, he knew that much. Elrond allowed for a pause in his words before continuing on. “Very well, she shall escort you for the time being,” he said when his decision finally became clear, “I'll leave you two to your own devices for now. I suggest that you both change out of those wet clothes.” He gestured for the captain to follow him before walking away, the captain following him at his heels. Ireth watched them, her face still passive, until Elrond and the captain went out of sight before breathing a sigh of relief and smiling at Elemmire.
“That wasn't too bad,” she said quietly to the other elf, “it could have gone far worse after all.” Ireth looked over Elemmire and herself. “I think he may be right about the clothes however. We're still a bit wet from the river.” She was sure she had some extra clothing back where her parents use to reside. The place was still hers, though it was usually empty most of the time.

She nodded as she looked at him,"Yes father"She said as she looked down. Walking down the Hallway with Irza and she nodded, "Yes that could have gone worse, I agree on that... "She said as she looked at her as she paused looking at her, "So Irza ...What are your plans for the rest of the day?"She asked curiously.
She was starting to feel the beginnings of an vision but fought it off as she looked down as she came out from behind the dressing curtain. After that she sat on her bed and she looked at her friend waiting for her answer. Elemmire looked down and then felt a stronger pain in her head and she winced and bent to the floor as she slid off the bed putting her hands to her temple.
Soon after she went into a trance like state as she saw Legolas Greenleaf and her in the distant future together then soon after he was killed along with their two children by the reemergence of the ring... Apparently it wasn't destroyed the first time. She came out of the vision soon after and looked around panicked as she was shaking and looked around trying to get a grasp on her reality.
