WARFARE !
alright, this is probably the most complicated part of the site. only characters in a high position are going to be allowed to start a war. it has to be realistic, so that they can be able to gather troops. if two characters decide to start a war against each other, they simply have to pm the admin about how it is going to start, who is going to win and if it is allowed for other people to join. if they decide that the war will not be private, there will be an announcement where people can sign up their characters for the war. if they want them to get hurt, get killed or something of that sort, they have to plan it out with the person who is going to killor wound your character. or you can just make an npc kill him. npc means "not-played-character". people who have planned the war are the ones to stop it. however, they have to make sure that they follow the main plot - don't destroy lands that should not be destroyed. when a plot war is going to happen, it will be led by the canon with the highest position of the country. fx: if rohan goes to war, and theoden has just been deleted and eowyn is the only one who is left, she has to be the one to give people orders. your characters don't have to follow them - it all depends on their personality. eowyn would control the many npc troops and she is the only one who has the right to describe what all of the troops are doing. but if there are some major events in the war - such as the orcs storming helm's deep - it will be the admins who control that. it will happen like this: the admin writes: "the orcs were able to break in, they are now storming helm's deep", and from then on, it is your job to write what your character is doing in this situation. if you are an orc, you can join the other orcs, if you are human, you can write that you attack the orcs, or that you are busy fighting some other orcs. if your character decides to take action in the main event of the war (which the admin has just posted), the character is not allowed to write whether or not he/she killed orcs. it is for the admin to decide if they did. after a few posts, the admin will post again, saying the numbers of the dead, who killed them, etc. the way you should write this is not to finish the actions of your character. you can for example say: "he shot three arrows at the orcs" but you cannot say whether they hit or not. you can also say that he "lifted his sword at one of the orcs" however you cannot write that he killed it. If it is still hard to understand, you are welcome to post in the questions area.
