Being critical: Alvin is very good at noticing mistakes in everything and he’s not afraid of saying his opinion about everything, which can be a big help for those people he actually likes. He works well in groups, with his critical point of view, and if just the others are listening to him, the group often scores the highest points. He is quite critical when he wants people to think creatively and make them think outside the box. Alvin is a thinker himself and he wants people to reach the same result of a problem as he had. He does not like to discuss any of this – actually he does not like discussions at all and he therefore often keeps silent if he sees that a person does not fit to his critical standards – though it is not hard to see on his facial expression what he is thinking of them.

He likes when people are themselves: However Alvin knows that each person has his own personality, and he encourages everyone to not be afraid of showing that personality, and therefore he is good at making those new members he likes feeling good about themselves and become self-confident. He encourages self-confidence among his friends, and he is not afraid of telling them to “pull themselves together”, and therefore he can change a little insecure boy to a secure and proud young man. He is very creative with his description and is not afraid of acting dramatically if he wants it to work. He himself does not like drama at all and that is also why he cannot face his own problems properly.

His humour: Which fits to a special group of people, but when one is with him, one is never bored since he’s always pulling one with him on one of his adventures. He is good at talking to friends and making them feel better, because he knows so many insulting words to pull off about that person who had hurt them. His humour is also what makes him special; since it is also a little perverse, he gets very well along with boys and not that well among girls. If it happens that they fall in love with him, because he can for some females seem like the “funny” man, because of his good humour, he often uses them, which is a benefit to him. Though sadly this trait does not over win his biggest trait – and that’s being poetic. He is a very sensitive man when he is in the right mood and can be very descriptive in his way of talking.

Self-confidence: Gave him good grades in classes and he was very good at handling exams which made him calm, because he finally could show everyone how good he was. He is not afraid of showing how he really is, and he stands his ground when he gets a good idea. His self-confidence is also the one that makes him not caring about how he appears and what people think of him. Perhaps it is because of this confidence that people actually like him even though he might seem rather filthy with the long wild hair and the poor clothes. Alvin is not afraid to stand up for himself if a real fight breaks out, though sadly he would rather stay out of the fight instead of fighting back.

Bravery: He is not afraid of trying something new and exiting. Every time someone needs a volunteer, he is the first to raise his hand, and as his mother, he has a weakness for experiments. If he was a muggle he would’ve enjoyed extreme sports to get this adrenaline kick, and at the end he would be the one to stay his ground and fight if death eaters ever attacked them, because of his self-confidence and his hunger for adventures. This hunger for adventures also gets him into trouble, since he always ends up being at places he should not be, but that is a totally other thing. The man has learned to satisfy his adventurous spirit by being outside a lot and by going on long trekking trips – though that is quite hard at the moment with his little son and his hard work. But when it comes to an end, Tuomas is a very outdoors person.

His arrogance: Makes him appear very mean and gives everyone who doesn’t know him a reason to hate him. At the end he only likes herself, and he will safe himself first before saving another (what he doesn’t know is that in reality his family comes first for him, but the man simply does not want to admit that yet). To short the whole thing down: the most important person in his life is himself – he likes being the best at everything and he likes being the one who is smart and right. He often chooses his friends with the same personality as him, though it gives him problems sometimes, because imagine what a group of arrogant and egoistic people would do during a discussion, or if someone is in danger. Though it is not hard to get to talk to him, because even though he is overly critical and arrogant he still likes to meet new people (especially since he is new in the country). And even if those people might now live up to his standards, then it just gives him a good reason to get a laugh or put them down a little bit.

Self-confidence as a flaw: Hates hearing that he has made a mistake. Since he thinks that everything he does is perfect. He often gets angry at the person who says that and end up with arguing with him. It can even happen with a colleague who has a higher rank, but it is rarely. And he looks down upon other people who seem to be weak in his eyes. His confidence and hunger for adventure is not a good mix either. If you look closely at him you will notice scars on his face and there is a big scar on his chest. These scars tell of a day where he was climbing the fields in Norway and thought that he could safely climb further, despite his instructors warnings and that caused a fall where he broke his leg, got scratches and broke a few ribs a swell. But the man has of course still not learned from it.

Temper: Every time he gets very angry he ends up in a big fight and can even curse a person without thinking about it. Often gets hurt badly by attacking another colleague because the person had insulted him. If he has forgotten his wand, he is not afraid of hitting someone, even though he’s not that strong physically, it often surprises wizards and witches which actually sometimes ends up looking really badly, because no one expects a wizard to hit. Though this rarely happens. He often looses his temper in discussions, but it does not end with a big fight. He is also a rather sensitive man and is very easy to tears. There is a feeling that makes him cry easily and that is love – he sees it as a weakness.
