FRODO BAGGINS*
(Credit to lord of the rings wiki)
Frodo was born to Drogo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck on September 22nd, Third Age 2968. He spent much of his youth at Brandy Hall in Buckland, which was the ancestral hall of the Brandybuck family, which included his mother Primula Brandybuck. When he was younger, he was considered a bit of a rascal, stealing things such as mushrooms from Farmer Maggot's crops. In 2980, when Frodo was only twelve years old, he lost both his parents who took a boat out onto the Brandywine River and drowned. With no siblings, Frodo was taken in by the Brandybucks to live at Brandy Hall until his cousin, Bilbo Baggins, adopted him and made Frodo his heir. The two grew very close in the following years; Frodo learned much of the Elvish language during his time with Bilbo, as well as much of the lore of Middle-earth. The two, coincidentally, also shared a birthday. The significant birthday was, of course, the one for Bilbo's 111th Birthday, where Frodo came of age (33). Bilbo gave his speech and disappeared with the use of the one ring, and left all of the hobbits completely bewildered. After Gandalf spoke to Bilbo, the hobbit left for Rivendell, and in doing so, left the one ring in Frodo's care. Gandalf, having suspicions about the ring, told Frodo never to use the ring, and to keep it in a safe place. As the years passed, Frodo seemed to stop aging and appeared at age 50 like a robust Hobbit just out of his tweens. Frodo was red-cheeked and rather stout, but taller and fairer than most Hobbits, with brown hair, bright eyes, and a cleft in his chin.
On the 12th of April, 3018, Gandalf returned to Bag End and informed Frodo that the Ring was actually the One Ring, which the dark lord Sauron needed to rule over Middle-earth. Realizing that Sauron would be looking for the Ring, Gandalf advised Frodo to secretly follow Bilbo's journey to Rivendell. After their discussion, a rumor was spread that he was running out of money. Although it wasn't created by Frodo, it was encouraged by him. Meriadoc Brandybuck helped Frodo to purchase a small house in Crickhollow. With exception of his gardener, Samwise Gamgee, who would accompany him to Rivendell, Frodo told the hobbits of the Shire that he intended to move to Buckland. He sold his home to the Sackville-Baggins, and, on the 23 of September, 3018, the day after his fiftieth birthday, Frodo left from Bag End, taking with him Sam, and eventually also Merry and Pippin, who had somehow known about the secret journey. They left in the early morning for Bree departing with haste and just in time, as Sauron's most powerful servants, the nine ring-wraiths, had entered the Shire dressed as riders in black searching for a hobbit with the name of Baggins. Frodo was left with no alternative but to bring the two hobbits with him. He planned on cutting through the Old Forest and the Barrow-downs in hopes of losing the Black Riders. There they met other troubles though, at the hands of Old Man Willow and the Barrow-wights, but were rescued twice by Tom Bombadil, a mysterious being who dwelled in a glade in the middle of the Old Forest.
Once they reached Bree, the hobbits booked accommodations in The Prancing Pony. Frodo went by the name of Mr. Underhill, attempting to raise as little suspicion as possible. Soon, Frodo realized that Pippin Took was overly enjoying the attention of an audience and talked rather loudly about the Baggins family. Frodo tried to distract the crowd by singing and dancing on a table, but he jumped and fell and the Ring slipped onto his finger. Consequently, the Hobbit disappeared into thin air. When he reappeared, Aragorn spoke to him and warned him that he was drawing too much attention to himself. That night, the Black Riders arrived in Bree and attacked the inn, but Strider managed to hide the Hobbits from them. Strider led the Hobbits into the Wild to Weathertop, where they were attacked by five Nazgul on October 6. In their presence, Frodo succumbed to the overwhelming temptation to put on the Ring, but he resisted their attempt to take him by drawing his sword and invoking the name of one of the Valar. The Witch-king, Lord of the Nazgul, stabbed Frodo in the shoulder, but Frodo's defiance and the appearance of Strider armed with flaming brands drove the Nazgul away. Though Aragorn was a skilled healer, he could not heal Frodo's wound. A fragment of the Ringwraith's blade remained in Frodo's flesh, where it continued to move towards his heart. Near death, Frodo was rescued by Glorfindel, an Elf-lord, who took the injured Hobbit upon his horse, named Asfaloth.
Still pursued by the Nazgûl, Asfaloth carried Frodo to the Ford of Bruinen, at the entrance to the valley of Rivendell. Once they had crossed the River Bruinen, Frodo turned and saw the nine Ringwraiths on the other side. They ordered him to give up the Ring, but Frodo refused. After this, the Ringwraiths were washed away in a flood called upon by Elrond. He was healed in Imladris by Elrond, but both of them knew that the wound would never fully heal, as it was as spiritual as it was physical. Although Elrond had healed his wound, it continued to bother him for as long as he remained in Middle-earth. After his healing, Frodo was summoned to a great Council that Elrond had organized. Representatives of all the Free Peoples of Middle-earth discussed the history of the Rings of Power and decided that the One Ring needed to be destroyed. As the ring was shown, fighting began to break out as to who should carry the ring to the Crack of Doom. Frodo bravely volunteered to take the Ring to Mordor and cast it into the fires of Mount Doom. A member of each of the Free Peoples offered to join Frodo in his quest, forming the Fellowship of the Ring. The Fellowship consisted of Frodo, Samwise, Meriadoc, Pippin, Aragorn, Gandalf, Boromir of Gondor, Legolas Greenleaf, and Gimli Son of Gloin. Before leaving Rivendell, Bilbo gave Frodo his coat of mithril mail and his sword Sting. On December 25, the Fellowship of the Ring departed from Rivendell and headed south.
The Fellowship attempted to cross the Misty Mountains, but were unable to due to a snowstorm. They instead traveled through the underground city of Moria at the urging of Gimli. When they entered the Chamber of Mazarbul, the Fellowship was attacked by Orcs and a Cave-troll. Frodo helped to defeat the Troll before he was stabbed by an orc captain, although his mithril shirt saved him from the deadly blow. The Fellowship ran to the Bridge of Khazad-dum, where Gandalf fell while confronting Durin's Bane. Deeply grieved by their loss, the Fellowship journeyed to Lothlórien, where they met the Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn. While there, Galadriel showed Frodo a vision of the future in her mirror. He tried to offer her the one ring, but resisted the temptation, and thus accepted the diminishing of the power of the elves. As the Fellowship left, Frodo was given the gift of the light of the star Eärendil. They continued south to Amon Hen, where Boromir attempted to convince Frodo to bring the ring to Minas Tirith. When Frodo decided against it, Boromir attempted to take the ring from him by force. Frodo put on the ring and escaped, and then decided to take the ring to Mordor alone. He was however, joined by Sam, who felt it was necessary to protect and guide Frodo.
After leaving what remained of the Fellowship at Amon Hen, Frodo and Sam tried to navigate through the winding paths of the Emyn Muil. They got lost several times, but were then found by Gollum, who at first tried to take the One Ring, but was captured by Sam and tied up with the elven rope. Frodo, pitying the creature, decided not to slay Gollum, but forced him to swear an oath of servitude. Gollum then led them out of the maze and into the Dead Marshes. Gollum led Frodo and Sam on a safe pathway through the marshes, warning them not to follow what seemed like small torches in the water. Frodo, as if in a trance, fell into the waters of the marsh, and was rescued by Gollum. After venturing into Ithilien, and witnessing a skirmish between a company of warriors from Haradrim and rangers from Gondor, they were apprehended by the ranger's captain, Faramir. Faramir blindfolded the ring-bearer and his companions and led them to Henneth Annun, the Window on the West. Samwise foolishly misspoke, and gave away that Frodo was indeed carrying the One Ring. Realizing the importance of the quest, Faramir proved his quality and let the ring-bearer go free. Frodo begged for Gollum's safety, and he was not killed, although the rift between master and servant began to open.
Gollum led the Hobbits past the lair of the Witch-King of Angmar, Minas Morgul, and up the stairs into a tunnel. When they arrived at the top though, they were abandoned by Gollum. Upon escaping the tunnels, Frodo thought himself safe; however, Shelob managed to sneak out and jab him with her stinger. Sam was able to draw her into single combat wherein he, using Sting and the Phial of Galadriel, was able to mortally wound her and drive her back into her caves. Frodo was then taken to the tower of Cirith Ungol to await further torture and questioning. Frodo was taken to the utmost top of Cirith Ungol and imprisoned. Sam then journeyed to the tower where Frodo was held, and rescued his master. Frodo and Sam crawled onward through the empty plains of Mordor, and, after falling in and out of a company of Orcs, started to climb Mount Doom. Frodo became progressively weaker as the Ring's power over him grew the closer they came to Orodruin. He was eventually unable to go on, and Sam was forced to carry him a fair distance while his master rested upon his back. It was then that Gollum reappeared, and after a brief struggle, Sam cut Gollum in the stomach, and Frodo fled up the mountain, strengthened by the possibility that the Ring could be taken from him and taking the chance to destroy the Ring. Frodo then had the chance to rid himself of his burden, but he hesitated. Sam tried to get him to throw it in, but Frodo, near madness, did not listen, and instead claimed the ring as his own.
Gollum bit off Frodo's finger and finally had the ring back after all these long years. He began to dance with happiness, but his wild movements ended up as his downfall, casting him into the fires of Mount Doom and ultimately destroying the Ring. After recovering and Aragorn's coronation, Frodo returned to the Shire, and helped defeat the ruffians that had taken over. Frodo briefly served as Deputy Mayor of the Shire, but soon realized that he still bore the wounds of his quest, and so retired. He was also in continual pain from his shoulder wound, which pained him each anniversary of their stay on Weathertop. At age 53, Frodo joined Bilbo, Gandalf, Galadriel, Elrond, and Cirdan aboard an Elven ship. He was allowed passage across the sea to the Undying Lands to find some semblance of peace from the memory of his past.
Frodo, like Bilbo, was considered by many others in Hobbiton to be a little odd. His interests in the outside world, fascination with Elves and faraway places did not fit the general content personality of most Hobbits. This curiosity was also attributed to his Took ancestry. Frodo wasn’t talkative, quite the opposite, which was most likely caused by his parents’ death and the envy of his neighbors. Frodo loved to spend his free time with Merry, Pippin, and Sam, tramping all over the Shire; but more often he wandered by himself. The young hobbit was always fascinated by marvelous stories by his uncle Bilbo about mythical beings like elves and trolls. For a hobbit, Frodo was broad-minded and smart. Before the journey, he was considered somewhat of a ''shy rabbit'', afterward, he was more sophisticated, yet forever altered.

In all honesty, Alexia had been sorely tempted to ditch this latest detention she had received. It was definitely not her first, and would surely not be her last either. Especially from Professor Lange. Alexia was very talented with getting on his nerves. She supposed it also helped that she loathed what he taught, and frequently interrupted with snide remarks, or rude insults to muggles. Needless to say, she was a frequent disturber of the peace in his classroom. Not that she minded his detentions all too much. After all, despite the irritation of having a detention, she got to admire him. It was a little bit of something that made the thing less annoying. Not by much. It was such a damn shame that such a handsome man was such a fricking muggle-lover. It irritated her beyond belief. At least if he were gay she could shrug off her attraction and go find someone else alluring. But it didn't seem like he was, which made him dangerously tempting. Like the last piece of chocolate or something along those lines. Not that Alexia ate much chocolate anyway, but still. Professor Lange was too attractive for his own good. It was kind of funny how much she argued with him while fantasizing about all manner of odd things that could never happen between the two of them. Sure, she flirted, but she was never sure if he was actually tempted, or just trying to mess with her head. He was definitely frustrating. The fact that he was several years older than her did not bother her at all. She wasn't the first person to have a crush on a teacher, and she was sure she wouldn't be the last either.
And while him being eye candy might entertain her for a while as she suffered, it wouldn't be enough to make her feel better after doing some irritating task. And she figured that it was likely he would give her a muggle task just to emphasize on showing them respect and all that crap. Alexia was certain that she would never give them the respect he felt they deserved, those filthy creatures. She grinned at the image of them running in fear at the knowledge of magic's existence. If they only knew how there were plenty of dangerous witches and wizards in their midst, oh they would definitely tremble. Yes, it was a cheering thought as she made her way towards the muggle studies classroom, a scared little fourth year following after her. Alexia had bullied the girl into carrying her nail filing tool kit, with a bunch of nail polish as well. It was definitely rude of her to demand it, but she didn't want to force herself to carry it. That would be downright foolish. And it was slightly ironic, but when she did her nails, it was one of the rare times she didn't use magic. Because she wanted her nails to look absolutely perfect, and she wasn't sure of the exact spells to use just yet. So, annoying as it was, she did it just like muggles, although she prided herself in believing that she did it far better than those pathetic humans did. In any case, she was sure she was nowhere close to similar to them. She took her time about getting to the classroom, just like every other time she showed up, because she liked to be ''fashionably late'' and really didn't give a damn if that frustrated people. At least she showed up. They damn well shouldn't complain. Alexia simply had to make sure she fixed her make up and such before heading over there.
Mainly she did it to see if she could tempt him at some point. Slowly but surely, she would tempt him. At least, that was her master plan. Alexia wasn't really sure what she'd do after that, but she would think about that later, if her flirtations and good looks worked. It also included wearing outfits that weren't quite scandalous, but made her look gorgeous. The one she had chosen was definitely perfect, and Alexia knew that it would at least weaken the knees of several boys of this school, if not Professor Lange. But she was determined, even though she really couldn't understand why. He was definitely not ideal. He was a muggle-lover, he was a professor, she doubted he got paid very well, and she already had a fiance who was very much like herself. So she really didn't know why, but she was attracted to him. In any case, she finally made her way inside the muggle studies classroom, her head held high and her nose particularly high as well, looking as haughty as possible. After a moment of simply glancing around the room, she remembered that she still had that pathetic fourth year following her. "Oh yeah. You can set that down on the desk over there. And then shoo." Alexia spoke coldly to the girl, who did as told and then bolted. A smirk crossed the blond's face as she sat down where her kit had been placed. It was only a year in age that was different between the two, but Alexia acted as if she were far beyond, and far more important. Which wasn't too surprising considering how her family was.
She settled herself comfortably, began to file her nails, and then finally glanced over at Professor Lange. As she expected, he was as gorgeous as usual, and even though his hair was rather long, she thought it was absolutely adorable. She would love to run her hands through it. But she would never get away with that, so she could simply ponder the thought. Ponder it and annoy him just because she could. Her green eyes glanced him over several times before she smirked. He looked fine, but she felt that she was definitely better as a whole. "So, Professor, what am I supposed to do this time? And also, what do you think these detentions do for me, because they don't change my opinion." Alexia questioned him curiously, figuring she might as well get the work over with before she went back to the common room and relaxed by the fire for a little while.
